Visiting Neighborhood Church of God
Visiting a church for the first time can be a little
uncomfortable and intimidating.
We understand that!
No matter where you’re coming from, you’re welcome here.

At Neighborhood Church of God, from the moment you walk through our doors, you’re family. We believe church should feel like home—a place where you’re welcomed with love, warmth, and genuine fellowship.
When you arrive, our hospitality team will greet you with a smile, help you get settled, and provide you with a program so you can stay connected with what’s happening in our church family and community.
Whether this is your first visit or your first time back in a while, we’re honored to worship with you. If you have any questions, need prayer, or simply want to connect, our church family is here for you.

Neighborhood Church of God is a multigenerational community church that gathers for one worship service beginning at 10:45 a.m.
Our worship style is a meaningful blend of traditional hymns and contemporary worship music, led by a gifted team of mostly volunteer musicians. The worship portion of the service typically lasts about 20 minutes.
Following worship, a message is shared, and services generally conclude around 12:00 p.m.
Scripture is read from a variety of translations, and we encourage you to bring the Bible version you are most comfortable with. New International Version Bibles are also available in each pew for your convenience.

At this time, we are prayerfully seeking a team of dedicated teachers to help strengthen and grow our children’s ministry.
We also provide a mother’s nursery equipped with a TV stream of the service, offering a comfortable space for nursing mothers and families with young children. As Pastor Hunter often says, “If I can’t preach over the kids, I’m not doing it right.”
Children ages 4–11 are welcome to remain in the service with their parents and/or family. We currently do not have staffed Children’s Church or nursery programs in operation.
Our classrooms and nursery spaces are located downstairs.

At Neighborhood Church of God, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and there is no formal dress code. You are invited to come in your Sunday best or in your weekend casual attire—either way, all are welcome just as they are.
You will see everything from dresses and ties to jeans, shorts, and casual wear. Our hope is that you dress in whatever allows you to feel comfortable and focus on worshiping God freely.
